UIUC Conference on “The Mystery of Delaware’s Success”

A reminder that the University of Illinois College of Law is hosting ”The Mystery of Delaware’s Success” this Friday, October 19, 2007 at 3:00 p.m.  This conference will feature Chancellor William Chandler and Professors Bill Carney, Bob Thompson and Larry Ribstein speaking on the topic of the continued domination of Delaware corporate law.  If you are planning on attending, please let me know at achurt@law.uiuc.edu.

This program promises to be a significant contribution to the debate on Delaware corporate law. I hope you’ll tune in, either in person or live on the web, or by watching the webcast after the conference on the Illinois website (I’ll be posting the link when available).

I also think this is a very important conference and, having done my time in the cornfields, I’m damn glad I don’t have to schlep out to Urbana-Champaign to see it.
